Stuart McDowell, freelance graphic designer 'Creative Beast' was asked by 'Skillnet' to come up with promotional material for the DAF Apprenticeship programme.
DAF designs, develops and builds the industry’s most advanced and comprehensive range of trucks. This is supported by an after-sales back-up service that sets the standard for the whole industry. 
The brief for Creative Beast was to formulate a range of promotional material suitable for use by both trainees and parents to attract new trainees, and training literature including a 98-page induction document. It had to adhere to DAF guidelines, contain the required message and promote both companies adequately.
The brand needed to be designed so that it could be easily modified for printed matter. Working very closely with both companies, Creative Beast produced strong promotional material including a professional, stylish and informative website and effective exhibition stands.
